Scripture is 'Thus saith the Lord' not mere verses

When Paul wrote.... 2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. He did not imply that his writings were absolutely true and straight from the Lord HIMSELF. Scripture means 'THUS SAITH THE LORD' writings directly from the Lord or from His angels or when a true prophet or prophetess is in the Spirit. The Book of Lamentations is not as important or noteworthy as Genesis or Mathew or Daniel. You have to have discernment, and know if the writer is sp[eaking as the Lord or via the Holy Spirit or whether they are just giving their opinion, in a mere letter to fellow Christian.

Church Christians tend to say they believe all scripture or all the BIBLE, as a sign of their spiritual pride and obedience, even though they do not forsake all and follow Jesus totally by FAITH, as Jesus told them to do. They seemingly saying their belief system in believeing ALL, as with 2 Timothy 3:16, makes them special ... even though numerous denominations say the exact same thing, and none of them seem to be obeying and winning souls.

Therefore they fight over scriptures versus many Paulian verses, and their doctrine gets watered down and confusing and ineffectual. Its just word games to them and no action, except perceived self righteousness. Consequently I suggest you read verses in context. See if it is straight [prophecy and scripture from the Lord, OR whether it is reworded principles that are scripturial OR whether it is mere opinion, and contemporary solutions for a past tense problem etc...as with many of the rules and regulations Paul had for women.

Have discernment, and stick to prophecy, straight scripture, Jesus' words, Jesus actions, and the true Holy Spirit.
