Because there is interest in the documentary of the DaVinci Code, allow me to discuss a rather significant symbol for the Priory of Sion, the supposed organization or followers who protect the Messianic lineage by protecting his supposed offspring. Here's the symbol ....

In the first one, note that the symbol is of the fleur-de-lis, a five petaled
flower, also used by the French. The Franks having had Merovinian long
haired rulers before they were replaced. Long haired.... Yes, just as with
Samson, the strongest man who ever lived. You know the bible character
with long hair that chased women and got his eyes removed when he had
his hair cut, thus breaking his vow to the Lord.
Anyway the fleur- de-lis, is said to be symbolic of a circumcised male member,
interesting as the second picture or symbol, shows a bee, placed on a hex
agram, or flower of life six pointed geometric figure, which is the Jewish symbol,
two interlocked triangles, a male upward triangle onto or into a downward female
triangle.. This mentioned also in the DaVinci Code.
In other words, it is the blade that goes into the chalice, or the Sword (Excalibur) that goes into the Grail. They go together. But whats the bee all about, why the bee symbol. Simply explained it is a sign reference, to Samson and his riddle, where he killed a lion with his bare hands. When he returned the carcass had been used by bees to produce honey.

He then composed the riddle to stump the Philistines. Hmmm riddle, codes, clues..

As it is not by might nor numbers that win battles for the Lord but by dedication
and focus. This because Gideon (his man) sent the majority home, and kept only
300 men that didn't lap like dogs, but were aware of the severity of their mission.
300 bees or a hive could bring down the whole heathen army that opposed them. So the bees are symbolic and show bible true stories and truths... for Samson also brought victory and brought down the false temple or church of the heathen, by bringing down their pillars. Because just like Moses, I quess his natural juices never subsided ... And did not the Spartans use 300 warriors to defeat their enemies. Is there something about 300 ? Were the Spartans descendants of Dan ?
I'm thinking, bees are a great symbol and probably the Priory of Sion at least did exist and probably still do exist, but positively rather than a negative grouping of imposters.
Honey was widely regarded by the ancients as resurrection-magic as it was one of the few preservatives they knew about along with salt. They actually embalmed their dead in the fetal position, in honey, in burial vases called pithoi, ready for their rebirth. The pithos represented the womb of the Goddess (which is actually the Holy Spirit but they didn't recognize Her) under the name Pandora, and honey became her sacred essence.
This 'bee balm' was thought to raise the dead as the Goddess was considered 'the pure mother bee' They even had festivals honoring her, in which they made and ate cakes shaped in the form of the female genitalia. Her priestesses bore the name, Melissa, or 'Queen Bee' the same as the Jewish Queen Deborah, whose name also meant 'bee'. Bees are still called hymennoptera, veil winged" after the hymen or veil that covered their Goddess Temple and which separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies in the Jewish Temple. The veil was split in two by Jesus, the only righteous Priest, at His death which allowed Him into the Holy of Holies. And the symbolism is surely obvious for those that know what the Bride and Bridegroom do on their wedding night and their consummation into total knowing.
Symbolically the Hindu's spread honey on the bride to symbolize what was to happen on her wedding night and their time together was suppose to last one moon in duration or a 'honeymoon' of about 28 days. This was the lunar cycle, the cycle of a woman in her menstruation and reproductivity.
Because of this 'honey' was considered an 'elixir' that could keep the very 'gods' alive. They mixed it with another ingredient the same as the early Christian Ophites did when they celebrated their 'love feasts' by ritually having a communion drink first. And to complete their trilogy they added salt, the salt of life making three profound and important ingredients, in celebration of their resurrection and rebirth by the Lord......
